Rotting Christ gitarist George Emmanuel ile yolarını ayırdı. 2013 yılından beri black metal grubu Rotting Christ ile birlikte çalan gitaristin ayrılığı grubun faceook hesabından duyuruldu. Yerine kimin geçeceği konusunda henüz bir açıklama yapılmadı.

Topluluğun son albümü The Heretics 15 Şubat 2019’da dinleyicileri ile buluştu.
